Dreaming about Melee and Smash

Before I forget, I'm gonna jolt this one down.

My house looked different. It had stairs. A basement. A guest room.

It looked like it was MY own house. Not my parent's...

But I still looked my age, as did Teddy, Jeffrey and Justin.

Before all this, Jeffrey had apparently requested of me to go to the dessert and retrieve some sort of mystical oranges for him. I did not go with him that time. He came back and asked me to go into the desert with him again.

My parents had asked me to watch my temper that morning.

Thanh came over. (What? XD)

The four of us, excluding Jeffrey, played some melee and brawl. Though the thing was, the opening for selecting some sort of *order* to go first included a racing-like mario kart game. O_o And we raced through the desert. I remember complaining about Brawl (...O_o) about not having this feature in Brawl. There were some matches after. I believe that all three of the guys beat me. :P

Teddy was there with me. He saw me blow up against Jeffrey's reasoning.

Jeffrey: "So, are you going to go with me?"
Vivian: "..."
Jeffrey: "If you are going, you should go with a reason greater than what you do have."
Vivian: "I'll do it for a reason that you can't understand."
Jeffrey: "Well, with a reason like that, I'm sure that it has no significance at all. Are you going to RAWR at me now?" (I seriously dreamed that. RAWR at me? LOL)
Vivian: UGHafhdsofhj

I run down to the guest room. Thanh was about to leave to head back home.

Teddy, Thanh and I headed out. We decided to go over what the conversation meant. We all left with some ice-cream cones in our hands. Thanh biked his way back home.

Then mom and I decided to go birthday present shopping for my friend Kelly. It ends around there and I wake up.
--
Dream Analysis:
-Smash must've invaded my dreams because of association LOL. (no other reasoning explainable)
-Jeffrey's pretty obvious. .___.;; Demands, really. Of course this one isn't *true*, but I'm sure it means something.
-Meeting Kelly Colee later today for a study session for our exam. That's about all that I can think of.
-Mom called me yesterday about my temper issues with dad, so that's another link.

That's about it.
Sincerely,
Vivian

Frustrations

This week has just been so...

Ugh.

Really.

-Bug infestations. FRUIT FLIES.
-->They ate my bananas. They turned black quickly after I put them in the fridge to protect them. I can only eat less than half of my banana max.
-Papers and Exams due on Friday
-Roomie claims sickness, so she wants the lights and my music off.
--> In response, I try to get my homework done faster, but my schedule is so not letting up. :/
-CSA is just making me very unhappy. I still feel like their "strong encouragement" is making the club sound like a TOP priority, which it is not. :(
-Judging did not go as planned. Only 3/4 judges responded (I'm glad that they did), but I'm just upset that the President wanted to default it... Oh well.
-Came back home last night around 11pm. '__' Mostly because the meeting ran so long (10:30, at least) and I had to take the late bus home.
-Jeffrey.
-Milk turned bad since I left the fridge open for 3 hours (door would not shut when I left the room... >_<) So had to go buy milk. Did get some other food supplies, but I'm just shopping so much. @_@;

On the good note, my classes are *mostly* fun. I have my friends and family, as well as the supportive boyfriend. And I suppose that matters more.

I'm losing track of my faith... Though that's been a gradual process. :/

Sincerely,
Vivian

Before School

MONDAY

Info Fair: met up from 10 am and saw Jeffrey and Kevin. Hung out there for a bit. Read The Lost Symbol. Walked around, got a few freebies. XD Ran into some friends from last year and such. My picture got taken. I look like a dork. If you really want to look for me, here's the link to WWU's forums AND the photo album from then. 'kay like, the sun was out, and I had dots in my mouth so I couldn't really smile right... XDD

http://forum.wwu.edu/infoFair2009

Teddy came over around noon. We had lunch at the Viking Commons with David Zou and Jeffrey.

The two of us ran errands for a while. As for me, I submitted in my form for Psi Eta Sigma (Freshman Honor Society) and made an appointment with the career center for my major.

Went back to the Info Fair and picked up for things. X3 I got a cup to brush my teeth in! Scoreeee. 8D Got to talk to a few more of my friends. Ran into Matt Reider in particular. Talked about how we were, and I asked how Pheebs was, since she had not been picking up her phone. He said she was in CANADA. And I was like, "What? Really?" But I jumped up and down like a little fangirl once Pheebs told me that she wanted me over at her place for dinner. I couldn't really hear the rest, but I was told that this was a chance to meet her mom and her aunt. I told her I'd go and that I'd call her up when I got nearby.

We also went to downtown, since we missed ice-cream booth from the fair. Teddy got some super chocolate. We were gonna visit Jerry too, but the store was closed on Monday.

Took the bus back down to Sehome Village and ran into Pheobe at the bus stop. We walked to her apartment, she gave me the grand tour and then we talked amongst one another for a good while. She's been living with her friend Alex and will do so for the year. She seems to really enjoy the place and she's still got that origami talent of hers. There are cranes all over and some beautiful butterflies in her room. :) We then played a word-card game called Quiddler. Later her friends, Abby, Cait and Kyle Evans showed up. Her mom and her aunt made an exquiste meal consisting of salmon, potato wedges, scrumptious carrots--only then to top of the meal with CHEESECAKE with raspberry sauce and mango on the side. It was fantastic. I helped with the dishes and it made me feel right at home...:)

I felt kinda lost as I left Pheobe's house. >_<; So I called up Teddy to ask for help. Consequently he was on Bill McDonald Parkway, so he ran and got me. We walked to the bus stop and chatted until the bus came.

I was left for an unexpected surprise (or disturbance, whichever you prefer). Jeffrey knocked on my door at 10pm and stayed for an hour. I did not want to welcome him. I was just...very uncomfortable about it, since I like planning alone. x_x He couldn't take the hint to leave... :( Ugh. I had to stand by the bed to signal that I wanted him gone. '___'; I need to talk to him about that, but I'm starting to withdraw now.

Need to shower to get ready to leave for class. I'm writing this late, I know, but I'll just update later.
-Vivian

Noting the Weekend

FRIDAY:
Did some yardwork with Teddy. We did what we could. :) Got more bark planted down, pulled up more weeds etc.

Got my haircut @ 1:00pm. Teddy dropped me off on the way, after we picked up some bags of bark from the local market in Newcastle. I like it, but I can't tie my hair as effectively anymore, hahaha.

Finished up more yardwork after lunch.

I was gonna wear my black/brown dress, but TWO of the buttons fell out while doing so. Okay, well, one of them did while the other one wasn't there a long time ago (meaning months). xP SO I ended up wearing my black graduation dress.

So for the family photo, I didn't like the photographs very much. I looked like a black blob, 'cause my hair is black... and when my dad has his black suit on, it looked like my body was FORMLESS. Gross. XP But the family was able to choose a photo with great consensus, so that was good.

Browsed around Macy's for a new dress, because the black dress was seriously not working out. I need to go dress shopping again. Something informal. :D

The family and I met up with Teddy at Toy's Cafe, a restaurant around Bellevue Square. The meal was alright. :) We were there to celebrate my mom's birthday.

SATURDAY:
Got up early. Not sure why. Must've been instinct.

Cleaned up the house, packed some for college. Helped mom out with cooking the food before the guests arrived. Teddy swung by around eleven and aided my mom too. Justin opened his birthday gift in advance, because Teddy was going to leave earlier that day, around 12:30pm. He ended up staying until 2:30pm. Other guests arrived, Justin's friends: Matt, Erik, Jonathan. Mom invited a few of her friends over, too. Aunty Wai Fong, for example. I called up Jeffrey to come over as well, since Justin invited him a few weeks before. There was a SUPER-HUGE-LONG game of Mario Party 8 that lasted 2 hours. @_@ It was crazy. I didn't win, but s'alright. :) It was a good game. The food was delicious. For pictures of that, you know where to find them.

For the rest of the night, I packed. >_<; Got in some Iron Chef America, too.

SUNDAY:
Mom woke up me up around 7am. I didn't want to pack....agh.

I ended up leaving a GOOD CHUNK OF MY STUFF at home. '____';; So I'm just like bleh. But I have the essentials here, with the exception of borrowing from Teddy and buying from Haggen. I'm still missing quite a bit. But I have my textbooks and my spirals, so all is good. WANT MY BINDER, GOODNESS.

I fell asleep in church. Didn't mean to, but usually don't get up until 8:30am on Sundays...

My mom drove us to church. Justin played our newly bought game of Oregon Trail. :D I read The Lost Symbol. It's such an intense book! @_@;

Ate at McD's.

DUDE. So like these helper people were rushing to go help me unload. I was just like, "wow."

Got my keys and signed forms. Apparently my RA is...my former classmate from THTR 216?

My parents had to go in a rush, since they were only allowed to park for about 20 minutes. Met Kaylani, my sutiemate. Teddy came over soon after. He was a huge help in unpacking... Met Teresa and her parents while we were at it. Risa, my AUAP suitemate (YES!), also treated us to some chocolate on a mini pocky stick.

We then went to go get our WWU IDs (mine re-newned, a new one for him) and our bus passes. Then off to Haggen we went.

Bought groceries among other things. We dropped off his groceries at Birnam Wood, had a free hot dog at the Birnam Wood BBQ, cooked eggs and bacon. Then we took a shuttle bus back to the Viking Union. >3<;

Ran into Jeffrey. I was taken aback...

Had to go to a floor meeting. It was okay. Introduced ourselves with our name and a word that had the same letter that starts our names, along with our major. I miss Kaitlyn... T______T; The hyper RA's...I just...dunno.

Went back to my room, IM'ed for a bit (then decided against it). Visited the ice-cream social. Had vanilla ice-cream on caramel and sprinkles. Yum. It was too noisy for me though.

Revisited room again, called Calista then worked for CSA stuff on the photo scavenger hunt that I'm planning.

That's about it... yep.

Sincerely,
Vivian

OH. Hah. 'fore I forget:

People I ran into that made me smile:
-Caitlin (bus stop line, apparently she lives on my floor)
-OKAY. She does not make me smile. But she drives me CRAZY. and she lives on my FLOOR. I'm just like NOOOOo.
-Melissa (from USEA!) @ Haggen
-Peaches/Dmitri He shouted "YEAHHHHH! Badminton tournament champions" while Teddy and I were at the Birnam Wood bus stop. I didn't understand for a while, until I saw him closely, hahaha. (See PE 132, Beginning Badminton)

'kay. Now I'm done.

Short Blurbs

SUNDAY:

Badminton with Mrs. Dekker, Mom, Jeffrey and Teddy.

Helped out Teddy with cleaning.

Came home to find Jeffrey upset, while talking online.

MONDAY:

Called people up because I was freaking out about a friendship problem with Jeffrey. Starting to...not feel good around him because of it. :/ Had a heart to heart talk, but I ended up weeping, because I was too emotionally hurt to speak. :( Tried talking to my friends for help, but a good deal suggested that I did nothing wrong, so I have nothing to worry about.

David stopped in during the convo., since he offered to come see me that day. He saw my tears and asked if he should come back... I still wasn't able to recover by then. *sigh*

Talked with David and Teddy for a bit soon after. When it was near 6pm, we all headed to Cheesecake Factory's entrance.

Met up with my friends Charmaine, Christina and Cassie. We then chose to eat at Specialities (a place known for its sandwiches at Bellevue Square), before heading to Lincoln Square to watch Ponyo. The film itself is such a delight! It scores an A on the cuteness scale. :P It's a good family film, haha. I certainly was enthralled with the animation and the silly characters in the movie.

TUESDAY:

Didn't have a chance to do yardwork. :/

The only thing that's coming to mind is that Teddy and I left my house around 5pm or so. The drive there was pretty jammed up. :S

We went there to see AJ Jacobss. After we parked the car, we got to stop by this multimedia store that had all sorts of video games. *-* It was a good place to window shop, haha. Had some dinner at this Japanese restaurant. THE BEEF TERIYAKI WAS AMAZING.

Anyway. We got to the UW Bookstore for AJ Jacobs' book talk and signing on The Guinea Pig Diaries. It was very lighthearted and hilarious. I even got to take a picture with Mr. Jacobs. 8D Teddy and I got our books signed too. ^o^~ 3 of them: The Know-It-All, A Year of Living Biblically and The Guinea Pig Diaries. I'm glad I ran into his book at the airport this summer!!!

DSCN3822

Teddy and I made plans then to go to UW's Oasis. He got a mango slush, while I obtained a honeydew melon slush. It was a good choice. 8D We also got Nutella Wontons too. X3 They were yummy. I wanted to see the place 'cause I love the Oasis from Chinatown and since Teddy visited UW's not too long ago for his Melee Tourney.

WEDNESDAY

Teddy showed up late. But we got some yardwork done. :)

By the time we had to leave, Teddy, my mom and I were rushing to pack up food. After our last minute efforts to plan out Doris' birthday gathering, we brought what we could and picked up Doris along the way. We celebrated at Jeffrey's with a cooking deal. We made some spaghetti with meat sauce (mostly meat and tomato) along with eggs fried with broccoli and canadian bacon. It was yummy.

We all played some brawl after. Hahaha. That was fun. :D

We then made use of the fruits that I had brought over. We finished 'em all, just in time.

I shouldn't have stressed over the night, I'm sure. I'm glad things went well. Now if only I could get rid of this gap and build a bridge between Jeffrey and me...

THURSDAY

Teddy came up for yardwork. Did more weed pulling, tarp placing and bark spreading for the day. We got rid of the tree remnants by the gate to our backyard.

Once it was 2pm, the two of us headed to Newport to get Justin. We met up with Chara at NHS' library.I showed him around to my teachers. We saw Rubio (APUSH!), Shultz (AP Gov't), Prufer (World Reli.), Vu (AP Calc), Nonis (HiAG2, HiAP4), Adams (9th grade Honors English) and Glowacki (AP Lang.). Justin has Adams, so that made things interesting, hahaha. Introduced some of my teachers to Teddy, too. It turned out well.

Dropped Chara off at her house, and Justin at mine. Soon after that Teddy drove me to his house and I helped him load some old electronics to the pickup, so his family could get them recycled. I went on for the ride and read The Guinea Pig Diaries, while he read The Know-It-All. Mr. James conversed with us every while and then on the ride.

After dropping off all of the electronics at the recycling area, Mrs. James had called asking Mr. James as to what day it was. Subtle hints inferred that it was their anniversary, and I deduced correctly. :P I joined the James' family for dinner. It was pretty yummy~ eggs fried with apple sausage, some pork Chinese soup and freshly sliced tomatoes. ^o^

Teddy drove the two of us off to Everett to meet his friend Janelle. It was a pleasure to meet her, and her stories on Renton's Fred Meyer were VERY entertaining, hahaha. She seems like a great person. :] We ate at this place called Spotted Cow and had some ice cream. I got some white chocolate raspberry and it was delicious. X3

Came back to B'vue, picked up Justin from Erik's (he was at Band for NHS' football game) and waited for my parents to get home. Teddy and I indulged in my mom's lemon jello, cream cheese pie since she offered that to us. *__* My mom also showed off her birthday gifts (9/17's the day) once Teddy left.

Plans for the weekend before school:

xxFamily Photo
xxBirthday Dinner for Mom

SAT-
xxJus' Birthday Party
